Early this morning our "Hi Vis Gas folk" were back in action! They had returned to repair the hole outside our house / bedroom walls on the footpath with their roller and 'whacker packer' machine! There are some benefits in being deaf, not many, but that was one! This morning we ventured out to Glenelg Football Club for a Luncheon with the 3RAR Association guys and their partners. It was good catching up in a more informal setting and also a good chance to chat about the upcoming Reunion scheduled for later in the year that will be held once again at Fitzroy Crossing WA. This evening, whilst Jess and Bo went out to the Movies, Ryan, Mr Roo and Roo braved the cold with rain forecast and went to an AFL (Australian Football League) night game at the Adelaide Oval as we had tickets to see the Port Adelaide vs Richmond game.
It was a great night out which saw Port Adelaide fight hard and come out with a win over last year's Premiers, Richmond.
Just on the quiet, Roo is actually a Richmond fan, but in the huge throng of fierce Port Adelaide fans, including Ryan and Mr Roo who had 'tipped' Port to win, she remained very, very quiet...
