![]() For our final full day we spent a relaxing, reflective morning soaking in all the amazing memories we had made over the past 98 days since we left home. At lunch we met up with a couple of Mr Roo's 3RAR comrades at The Hackney Hotel before taking a drive to the popular beaches of the coastal suburbs Glenelg and Marino. We returned to our van and began the preparation for our final last leg of the journey home tomorrow.

In the afternoon Jess and her friend decided to visit the Adelaide Zoo which, like the Botanic Gardens, was within walking distance of our caravan park.
Ryan decided to head off for a 'walk' whilst Roo and Mr Roo relaxed for the afternoon. A couple of hours later we receive a text from Ryan asking if I would be ok if we could pick him up as his walk had turned into a 17km stroll ending up at suburb of Woodville on the other side of Adelaide! This evening we learned that there was a warning that severe hail was forecasted to arrive in the late evening. Not wanting to risk a shattered windscreen so close to home we covered the Prado which worked a treat and fortunately missed most of the heaviest falls in our area overnight.
It was an interesting feeling driving back into the city once again after so long since our last 'city', Perth, WA, 20 days ago! We set up our camp in a quiet corner of Adelaide Caravan Park in Hackney, Adelaide, SA and had the chance to catch up with a friend of Jess's who has been studying in Adelaide. It was a great chance to catch up, take in and reflect on the entire journey to this point and just chill out.
