After much calmer weather conditions overnight, albeit a bit weary from our big day and night at Sovereign Hill yesterday, we were all up in a timely fashion to pack and get on the road towards, The Most Liveable City in the World' - Melbourne! We left Ballarat early and detoured through a scenic route that we had never travelled before, through the Lerderderg State Park towards Gisborne to greet the Calder Highway before heading into suburban Melbourne. We were too early to head to our Caravan Park so we dropped for a surprise visit to some long term 'internet friends', S & J's, parking our car and caravan out the front, ringing their doorbell and announcing, 'We have arrived |
Dad was pretty surprised and pleased to see all of us so it was really good to catch up briefly before making our way to our campsite for the next few days, at Crystal Brook Tourist Park, in Doncaster East.
