After a very rough and windy night we packed up as quick as we could to head further south to our final caravan stay for our trip before reaching home. On the way we stopped at Port Pirie for a quick look and eagle eyed Jess spotted something gold and shiny down a large grated drain hole right next to where we pulled up to park. So with a bit of improvisation using the annex hook and a bit of duct tape, she managed to secure her find, a shiny $2 coin! We called into Port Broughton and dropped in on a fishing mate of Mr Roo's but unfortunately he was out of town so we continued onto to South Australia's captial city, Adelaide |
It was an interesting feeling driving back into the city once again after so long since our last 'city', Perth, WA, 20 days ago! We set up our camp in a quiet corner of Adelaide Caravan Park in Hackney, Adelaide, SA and had the chance to catch up with a friend of Jess's who has been studying in Adelaide. It was a great chance to catch up, take in and reflect on the entire journey to this point and just chill out.
