This time the weather was perfect and the track was open!
Crystal Cascades is a secluded freshwater swimming hole hidden in the tropical rainforest. A series of small waterfalls cascade down over large impressive granite boulders Rainforest trees hang over the mountain water, keeping it cool and refreshing.
We finished the afternoon with a visit to the Cairns Botanical Gardens and stopped for refreshments at the Bontanica Cafe. Such a perfect and relaxing setting surrounded by lush and pretty tropical plants!
